The 2025 ROG Strix G18 is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen™ 9 9955HX processor and up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Laptop GPU with a max TGP of 115W with Dynamic Boost, running on Windows 11 Pro. 

Performance The CPU features 16 cores, 32 threads, up to 75W TDP, and a max boost clock of 5.4GHz. The system supports up to 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD storage in RAID 0, with one slot upgradeable to PCIe Gen 5. In Turbo mode the total system power budget reaches 170W, and up to 190W in Manual mode. 

Cooling The G18 features ROG's Tri-Fan Technology, a full-width heatsink with 412 fins and a total surface area of 187,156mm², full-surround vents, 7 heatpipes, and runs up to 6°C cooler than previous generations. It also includes 0dB ambient cooling and a dust filter. 

Display The 18-inch ROG Nebula Display offers a 2.5K QHD 16:10 panel at 240Hz/3ms, 500 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, ACR technology that reduces reflections by 55%, Dolby Vision, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. A Full HD 144Hz option is also available. 

Audio Dual speakers deliver virtual 5.1.2-channel surround sound via Dolby Atmos, with Hi-Res Audio support and Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation for clean voice chat and streaming. 

Battery & Charging The laptop carries a 90Wh battery with USB Type-C charging support up to 100W, and can recharge from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes using the supplied 280W adapter. 

Connectivity Ports include dual USB4 Type-C (supporting DisplayPort 1.4 and 40Gbps transfer), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 (up to 4K 120Hz / 8K 60Hz), a 1G Ethernet port, and an audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E. 

Design Available in two colors — Eclipse Gray and Volt Green — the chassis features pixel art accents, a paint-specking pattern near the rear exhaust, and a 360° design philosophy with rubberized grip and typographic detailing.
